The Great Castle 🧭

            

The Great House had many hidden treasures. As a 10 year old girlmany of the rooms were out of bounds for Mina, but her desire for adventure often got the better of her…

She peeked through the halls to check that the coast was clear. She could hear the

cook clattering in the kitchen at the end of the gigantic hall, and no one knew that shewas there Mina carefully turned the golden door handle. As she pulled the door open,

it creaked and it squeaked until it was wide enough to let her slip inside. She heard a

machinery clicking inside, Mina walked inside to see the magical library, with

spell books, curse books, and golden ones too. Mina had lived in this great house

for her whole life but she had never been in this room before, and that’s when her

curiosity took over.

Mina walked further inside the magical library, and took one of the books on the

golden shelves ( which she didn’t know was a curse book ). She opened it and read it out loud. Everyone

heard it as clear as day, but that one sentence had changed The Great Castle forever.

Many years had passed and the last thing that was heard in The Great Castle

was the last sentences Mina had said. Till this day The Great Castle was a mystery

to every single one, many had thought different stories about the castle but no one

really knew what happened that day…………...

Mosaic Art

 This week we learned how to do a mosaic art on google drawings. We get to do two mosaic art, I did one of them as my favorite animal and the other one my favorite cartoon character.  

This mosaic art that I did is a snow husky, I picked this animal because it is one of my favorite animals. And because I like the color of it's fur

The Science Roadshow

 

This Wednesday the whole senior syndicate went to see the Science Roadshow. A professor from Uni showed us some cool experiment about science, and a lady from the art gallery thought us about Carbon and the structure of an atom.

MY HOLIDAY☺️

     MY HOLIDAY

In my holiday we went to Terrace Downs for three days and two nights. In our first day went to Mt. Hutt to go for skiing. It was very crowded when we visited because it had a nice weather to go skiing. After skiing we rode a chair lift to go sight seeing on the top of the mountain.

On the second day we did clay shooting. It was my first time doing clay shooting but it was a fun experience. In clay shooting I get to shoot 10 times and I got 9/10. The impact of the gun was strong and the next day I got a sore shoulder, but it was worth it. 

 

On our third day I played golf with my family and had a rest to get ready to go back home. My holiday was pretty fun and tiring but it was all worth it, and my favorite activity was clay shooting because it was very fun and maybe you should try it too.

Today we had to make a self portrait using random items in our houses, and this is how my portrait came out. I used my shades for my eyes, pencils and a controller for my hair, and some nerf darts for the shape of my face. I also used a coin and a necklace for my nose and lips.

Why we shouldn't cut trees for a theme park

 In my writing class we had to make a persuasive writing on why we shouldn't cut down trees for a theme park.

Did you know that in one day, a large tree can lift up at least 100 gallons of

water, out of the surface, and liberate it into the whiff. But with the reason

for building a theme park, they cut a forest of trees to make a surface and

space for an amusement park. And I will be talking about why we shouldn't

cut trees for a theme park.

The world is full of animals and creatures we haven't manifested, and these creatures need care and shelter. Trees help us for shelter, food, and sites for reproduction. When the forest has matured these animals may luxuriate in and forage for food. Trees have helped the other living creatures a lot, and if we try to take them away. The population of animals will decrease and there will be no meat to eat.

Trees provide habitats for creatures in the forest, and enumerate  melody, and beauty to the environment. And the importance of the fact that the trees lifts up at least 100 gallons. Having more trees would prevent flooding on our surface, and instead of the waters running off the ground, the trees would drain them into the soil.

Another problem we will have is our provender Cutting trees would shrink

the fruit, and vegetables we ate. And as I said in the first issue animals

would lose their habitats which means we would also have a chance of

animals getting extinct. And meaning we might also have no meat to eat.

Or nothing at all!!

So the conclusion of cutting the trees for building a theme park would be a

big problem, for not only the community. And also for the animals that

lived in those forests you cut. Would you choose to wait in a long and

enduring line, waiting to get scared by the ghosts inside. Or rest in a

peaceful and an amusement nature, having fresh and healthy foods to eat?

If you want to have food to eat, and fresh air to breathe then we should not

cut trees.

The enchanted tree

INTRO

Mick is a man who wanted to travel the woods to make a documentary about the wild. At first it was going well but when he started to ran out of food he struggled, but he didn't wanted to stop, so he kept going until.     

A stormy day walking in the woods. Mick was tired and his legs were shivering while the cold breeze brushing through his whole body, he wanted to rest, keep going and don't give he said. So he walk and he walk and he walked. He was loosing hope not until when he saw the bright green light shining at the back of the tree. Is someone there? Him thinking that someone was hiding at the back or the tree. He peeked to see who was there but he saw nothing but a portal. He was so tired so he didn't think twice but to get in the portal and rest. He took a nap for a little while but when he woke up, he saw a fish flying above him, am'I dead ? Am'I in heaven? He stood up and saw the tree and the other side of it, he saw the forest that he came from. Phew I thought I already died he said relieved. But why are there fishes flying above ? He was speechless and amazed and he called it. The enchanted tree

Controlling the weather🌫️🌁

 

A girl in the place called Hokkaido even since she was little,she could control the weather, a girl that has a pure heart. Himari that’s what they call her. A normal day in her life became the worst day when she knew that her mom had 

passed. Her heart crashed, and a big storm went. 

She went for a walk to calm down but when she did the storm suddenly fade like it was just a bubble that popped. That's the day when she noticed her ability. She didn’t hesitate and helped the town to become,"the town that has the most beautiful weather everyday". But what she didn’t know was she has become one with the weather, and that every time she controls and prays for the weather, a part of her fades and becomes the scenery of the sea.

She had noticed it but she didn’t tell her brother. But the day has come she was almost becoming invisible and couldn’t control the weather. That's when she decided to tell her brother the cheerless truth. She told her brother to take care of himself. And that she had to sacrifice herself for the greater good.

This is my plot matrix of The Wayfinder.

A plot matrix is a method to organise the information of a story, and to compile the thoughts of a story. 

We made this starting with listening and understanding the story, and after that we part the story,

and we made the story map using the parts. And after all of that we made the plot matrix using all the information's that we knew about the story and that's how we made the plot matrix of The Wayfinder.

This is my divided portrait .This portrait has two different kind of my self portrait. One side of my face is a normal drawing of a portrait of my face the other half is my face too but i made my face out of the things i'm interested in. And making this can be a fun way to let people know more about what you like . I made this art by starting with sketching the shape of my portrait, next I draw my ears,eyes,mouth and my nose and after drawing my face i started drawing my body and started shading my portrait to make it look better and after doing my face I started putting the things I like as my face and after drawing them i just outlined them with a black pen.
